Douglas Joseph Partners is a boutique design and marketing communications firm. We craft distinctive programs in consumer and business-to-business brand marketing for clients representing a myriad of industries globally. In every case, our singular focus is on creating unique branded communications that effectively translate our clients’ business goals into a successful marketing message.

FOUNDER

Doug Joseph, Creative Director is a native of Los Angeles. Doug received a bachelor’s degree from ArtCenter College of Design. He began his career with the highly respected corporate design firm of Robert Miles Runyan and Associates. He co-founded Besser Joseph Partners that went on to become a nationally recognized design firm specializing in corporate communications and branding. Clients included Edison International, Georgia Pacific, Hilton Hotels, Lockheed, Mattel, Pacific Mutual Life Insurance and Unocal Corporation.

In 1996, Doug established Douglas Joseph Partners as a strategic marketing consultancy for multinational brands including 3D Systems, Auberge Resorts Collection, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, City National Bank, Entravision Communications, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Fraser Papers, Garrett Leather, Maguire Properties, Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, Smart Papers, Univision Communications and Vent-A-Hood.

In 2004 Doug was selected as one of 100 influential designers from the first 70 years at ArtCenter College of Design where he also taught design and communications. He has served as brand ambassador on behalf of clients through guest speaking engagements and customer training programs throughout North America.

In 2015 the firm moved to the small coastal city of Santa Barbara, California.
